Privacy policy

GuestPark is the data controller for the personal data processed through GuestPark. For any questions, contact us at post@guestpark.app.

1. What we collect

• Guests: name, email, phone number (optional), vehicle registration, and booking details.
• Hosts: name, contact and payout details, and the location of parking spots.
• Technical: essential cookies for login, session and language, plus log/server data.

2. Purpose and legal basis

We process this data to make and confirm bookings and send receipts (performance of a contract), and to operate and secure the service (legitimate interest).

3. Who we share with

• The host receives the guest's name, vehicle registration and booking details, so they know who is parking.
• Nexi/Nets – payment processing.
• Mailgun – email delivery.
• Sveve – SMS delivery.

We never sell your personal data.

4. Retention

Transaction and booking records are kept for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (generally 5 years). Other data is kept no longer than necessary.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion, data portability, and to object to processing. Contact us at post@guestpark.app. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies (login, session and language). We do not use tracking or marketing cookies.

7. Security

We use reasonable security measures. Payment is handled by Nexi/Nets, and we never store card details.
